Description

The Lucha Ring upgrade allows you to bank any leftover Stamina for towards a chance to fight in the Ring. Once per day, if you have 1-9 Stamina remaining, you can spend it to Train. Your Training is increased by exactly the amount of Stamina you spend, unless it was already 100 or greater; in this case your Training will instead be reduced by that amount.

Once every 11 days, you have the option to use your Training for a chance at 100 Stamina by facing El Diablo Supreme in the ring. Your percentage chance of winning is equal to your Training, up to 100%. If you win, you receive 100 Stamina. Win or lose, your Training is reduced by 100, to a minimum of 0. If you simply don't take the offer, your Training is not reset.

You may also spend 100 Resource Points to force a match to occur on the day of your choice.

Win text

(Your Training: XX     El Diablo Supreme Attack Roll: XX)

You walk into the ring, and the strange man in the mask is already standing on the turnbuckle, in his trademark wrestling pose. You freeze in fear, and the crowd screams as he leaps like a falcon (falcons can leap?) into the air…

"El Diablo Supreeeeeeme!"

You take a step back, and he lands flat on his belly!
"Ow ow ow ow!"

YOU HAVE DEFEATED EL DIABLO SUPREME!
+100 Stamina!
Training reset to zero!

Loss text

(Your Training: XX     El Diablo Supreme Attack Roll: XX)

You walk into the ring, and the strange man in the mask is already standing on the turnbuckle, in his trademark wrestling pose. You freeze in fear, and the crowd screams as he leaps like a falcon (falcons can leap?) into the air…

"El Diablo Supreeeeeeme!"

He lands on you, belly first, and you are utterly defeated!
Training reset to zero!

If you have at least 100 Training, another option opens up:

Throw the match to El Diablo Supreme to make him feel better >

But how to make this look good?

  • Telegraph a clothesline
  • Overswing a folding chair
  • Jeer at the crowd

Choose your next Move >

Any of these options has a random chance of success.

On success, second set of choices will appear.

That worked, now what?
● Throw a haymaker
● Slowly dive from the turnbuckle
● Answer your phone

Choose your next Move >

Final set of choices upon the success of the second set:

And now, the big finish!
● Wave them away frantically
● Run headlong into their fist
● Pin them incorrectly
Choose your next Move >

Once you have chosen all three correct choices,

You make a big show of it and lose dramatically!
After the celebration, his Manager quietly hands you a sack of Ryo.
"Thanks for that. He really isn't very good, is he?"
You got 50,000 Ryo!

Trophy.jpg You've unlocked the
Lucre Libre Trophy!
Congratulations!
1 Points

On failure:

You screw up, and accidentally beat him!

If you have previously attempted this and failed, the incorrect choice(s) will be crossed out, so you should need at most 7 tries (2 incorrect first-set choices, 2 incorrect second-set choices, 2 incorrect third-set choices, then the correct set of choices).

Notes

  • If you're trying to get a particular Training value, some combination the following will allow you to get any stamina value from 1-9, as long as you have 11 or more Stamina:
    • Doing 1 swing at a WorldKaiju will burn 5 stamina.
    • 1 spar (if it isn't your 50th of a set) burns 5 stamina, or 3 with Bruce Jr. lvl. 2 in your team.
    • Clicking "Kick the Machines!" at party house Claw Machines will burn 2 stamina.
  • Curiously, on CAPSLOCK DAY, El Diablo Supreme is instead referred to as el diablo supreme.
