Missions are the most common way to level up your character. Missions vary in difficulty, with the easiest being D-Rank missions and the hardest being S-Rank Missions. There are also Special Missions, which require a condition to be met before they can be unlocked. A mission can increase your jutsu XP, your attributes and earn your character some Ryo. Rarely, they can also provide you with allies and items.
Each mission has a particular condition for success. In most cases it requires that you attain a certain number of successes at a particular difficulty rating. For more information, check the attributes article.

A Rare Mission can only be obtained by taking General Missions.
Quests cost 10 Stamina per part.
Failed Quests allow you to start at the last part you were at.

You may only do one S-Rank Mission per day.

Reaper Missions
Without Soul Candy: -5 Stamina per regular mission.
You can only run missions that are equal to or below your rank. (Ex: Genin can only do D-Level missions, Chunin can only do C and D Level Missions, etc)
Some missions need the Soul Candy to unlock.
