Allies

The ally system in BvS is one of the most interesting aspects of the game. As your character goes on various missions, he will end up meeting other non-player characters (NPCs). These NPCs will become allies to your character and will provide certain permanent benefits to you. The most tangible of these benefits is the ability to form a teams with your allies so that they will help you out on your missions. Certain combinations of allies also produce special team bonuses. In addition, your allies can also teach you new jutsu that you otherwise wouldn't be able to learn!

Friendship / Hanging Out

As you spend time with your allies (either by doing missions with them or by spending time in the Party House), you will gain 'Friendship Points' with them. Your current amount of Friendship Points is visible from the main BvS page when you mouse over the avatar of the ally, as well as on the page for forming teams.

Each day, the ten people with the highest Friendship score with a particular ally will be able to 'Hang Out' with that ally, as long as they have at least 1000 points. Their Friendship score with allies they hang out with will be reduced to 1.

When you are hanging out with an ally, you can learn their jutsu at half the normal XP cost, and you can use any jutsu that ally can teach for half of any chakra cost. In addition, certain special missions may require you to hang out with certain allies.

Certain allies (such as J-Diddy and TicTac), items, and themes provide an increased rate of friend point generation.

Other ways to hang out with allies include using a Make-Out Mood Enhancer or activating the theme Floating On Air.

For those with 50 or more referrals, it is also possible to hang out with allies through the Mysterious Power Bloodline.
