So, I just watched Shippudden 48 last night. Is it just me or is Shippudden moving super, super, super slow?
It's not even that, it's when those episodes come out, it feels like nothing really happens.
Like, the last episode, Team Kakashi walked into a room. Talked to Sai, and then they left. That's pretty much all that happened in 20 minutes.
They're mirroring the 20-page manga chapters. Which is rather terrible when you think about it, considering that there's likely enough material in a two-chapter set to make an episode every two weeks and STILL not catch up with the manga or run out of time on a 20-minute time slot.
I guess they're really worried about running out of material. After the Chunin exam, things slowed down a ton while they started adding in a bunch of filler. I get the sense that they got a lot of flack for all the filler since…I don't know…it was like 2 years worth of filler.
So, I think they're trying to avoid doing more filler. But, they could at least make it seem like something's happening. Even in the epic battle from a few weeks ago, it felt like nothing was happening.
