This item is probably a reference to the book "The Zombie Survival Guide" by Max Brooks. I got myself a copy at the comedy section in a bookstore.

They don't stack, per se.

There's a seperate roll for each one, Jumpy, Immune, All 4 One, Survival Guide. One fails, the next one tries. If all of them fail, you're Infected.

It's very obviously a reference to The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks, not the Wasteland Survival Guide, though there is some overlap due to the usage of "Wasteland" in Zombjas.
