I'm not sure I fully understood some things about Shooting the Core; namely, the "removes one Reward Item and nets you the Drain Reward" part. Does it mean that you lose one copy of the normal Kaiju Drop whenever you drain the Phase?
i haven't done it myself, but that's how i heard it works. meaning you need the base drop before going for the drain reward since the base drop transforms into the drain reward.
Just to clear it up, yes, that's how it works. You want a holy spur, you're going to need to have a polar star you can give up to make one. If you don't have one, the drain reward just appears as "?????" :P
Seems like the Boomstick reward from the zombjas content ought to be mentioned here. It provides +2 drain levels.
EDIT: now I've fought 2 phases, and I noticed a couple of other bonuses. R00t rank and the epitath of twilight each give +2 strength. Also, this page might be a good place to mention things that boost damage % other than raising chance of death, like tri-edge and the detective duo team.

* If you kill the phase, and do not drain it, you receive the normal reward, instead of the drain reward. No reward item is taken, but you are corrupted as if you had successfully drained the phase."
This is wrong. Today for PW tried to get Mottled Wing. Shooted tanuki (he bacame 21k hp), but made him to -4 HP by mistake. I got Sand Spirit BUT I'M NOT CORRUPTED! :D

I even do not know to whom write to get this :)
Ahhh, I see. You've signed up for a Wikidot account, but not for wiki membership. If you look on the left, it's the second option below "Play BvS Now!"
