on the "maximum required to win", it says you need to buy 1000 attempts.
however, the "assumptions" list includes this incorrect tidbit "The winning number that day is between 1-10, which has a probability of 1/1,000 (slightly less than 0.091%)."
This is not an assumption of that strategy. I would edit it myself but i haven't been a member for 30 days yet.

its incorrect.
it says winning number not current number. If the current number is between 1 and 10 then you could spend up to the maximum amount. If the winning number is between 1-10 then the current number must be 0 and a single buy in will cause you to win.
