| The Black Altar Like a shot, the Bee fills the error, and the ground shifts - as if the world itself unfolded slightly, under your feet. In the distance you can see the far-off digital mountains part, ever so slightly, as if thin paths of reality forced themselves onto the landscape. At your feet, in the newly-'unfolded' area, lies a Mirror Shard, big enough for you to get a proper look at yourself.. Take the Shard > |
The Mirror Shard!
| The Black Altar You look in the mirror, the image stripping away everything you carry, leaving an unobstructed view deep into your eye - in which is an eleven-pointed star, burning brightly. You blink in surprise, and your reflection doesn't blink back. Your other self waves at you frantically, and backs up a bit, smiling - and still waving, which is a little weird, but whatever, you're friendly, you guess? Your eyes widen a bit when you see the glowing, multi-tailed aura behind them, but they wave it off, then silently get you to focus on what they are doing. (Your other self must be good at charades) Your self points at their eye, and nods, knowingly. (still smiling) Then, they point over their shoulder, and then at their feet - where there is a glowing intersection, right at the exact spot where the error was. Extending from it, behind them, are the two lines that meet at the point, glowing as they extended into the distance. While in your world, you see nothing out of the ordinary, your mirror self stares at you imploringly, pointing at their eye, then the symbol, then taps at their wrist - which, after getting a dirty look from the person in the mirror, doesn't mean "you have something on your wrist", but "hurry it up now". They reach forward, grab the shard (from their side), and wrench it down, so you can follow the burning line. When you look at yourself again, you are just you - no waving - but the lines still appear in the mirror. Looks like you have some walking to do. Check your Avatar Ability Menu! |
