If he's not leveled, then it repeats the text for Rising Star. If he is, then you get The Light Fantastic's flavortext. It's not about R00T rank, but whether you've been to Overture or not.

x used!
FutureMiku uses y!
They move faster than you can imagine!
Opponent's Move Rechosen! All Levels +1!
y CRUSHES x!

Look at my Horse! Future View Available!
Gambit Bonus: Deadly Rave! +300 EX!
Opponent's next move: a?

b used!
FutureMiku uses a!
They move faster than you can imagi- oh, wait.
b CRUSHES a!
You use Kin Goku Satsu! +10 Damage/+10 Levels!
FutureMiku takes 12 Damage!
You Win!

Put in the full text for Boss 5. It can only be done once so I think it's important we document it- it's such a large and, quite frankly, forgettable piece of 'plot text' after all. A couple of months to complete all of Billy Idol-glowslinging start to finish so I'd be more surprised if someone could remember all of it clearly than if people couldn't. Anyway I was thinking perhaps we could have a Special-PW-Ride-like page for this boss, and link to it both here and on the glowslinging page, to cut the latter half of the boss 5 tab text out. I can't imagine it going on the glowslinging page itself and the "Gs" guide is a shambles in so many ways so this is the best solution I could think of shorter than that.

In addition: The text at the start here is a summary of the battle. I suppose this can serve as an informal guide, since there doesn't seem to be one anywhere on the wiki. The boss will crush all of your moves and outroll you, hence most equips and allies will be useless. You should include Nadeshiko in your team and you must have Unified Field Theory as one of your abilities (if you didn't know, this can only be stolen from Portal of Awesome enemies). You also need to have bought kin goku satsu (and look at my horse if you don't have it already) and learnt the combination to perform your Deadly Rave (the unique 10-move gambit giving you +300 EX) by using the Sound of Silence technique from the 4th Billy Idol Boss/encounter some week before.
Begin the fight by working on your deadly rave. You'll lose every round so there's no point using offensive EX… to keep it simple I would recommend not using any, until the turn on which you would complete your deadly rave: as you use your last move, also use look at my horse. Then, whatever move the computer will use next turn, crush it and use kin goku satsu!
And voila, vicory shall be yours.

Yours sincerely,
Victory Prince

doesn't the fact that being r00t gives a different screen already contradict that statement? also double checked for consistency, having the overture active does nothing.

So given the R00t message, has anyone tried attending Billy Idol with the "A in C Minor" overture? Also, is it actually "A in C Major" at Billy Idol while the overture is "A in C Minor"? Seems odd that you've heard "A in C Major" in the fields before if that's the case.
